a language lesson no school would dare to teach.

Grindr wanted to start speaking to Spanish-speaking audiences.

But with such a unique language of its own, how could it connect with non-users or people from different countries?

We figured that, to start the conversation, they’d first have to speak the same language.

So we launched their socials with a mini-series where a queer council of know-it-alls came together to create a glossary that taught everyone how to talk inside the app: emojis, coded expressions, double meanings…
